身為曾經的音樂宅，總想在某些時刻加點配樂，試圖豐富平淡的日常。這本是件浪漫事，但當擁有一位音樂才子當朋友時卻變成困擾了──你他媽甚麼時候都要配樂是怎樣。於是就在Groove Locked主筆、Deep One Perfect Morning主力寫手Fuse的威脅逼迫之下，我們私下製作了幾捲混音帶：
《Biking Rock》：騎腳踏車時使用。第一首Queen的〈Bicycle Race〉一出，只能無言以對猛踩踏板。

《Ultimate Outdoor Mix》：登山專用。登頂時來首〈站在高崗上〉或〈山頂黑狗兄〉，快活無比。而踩到爛泥的時候，順勢跟著草東怒吼：「殺了它～順便殺了我～拜託你了」，也是種無聊當有趣的概念。
這回（也是敝blog久違的）的Mixtape主題是「2017: A Space Odyssey」。雖說「太空旅行」與生活是八竿子打不著邊，但有句話說「想像力是你的超能力」，既然困於現代生活的框架中，用想像來自我解嘲似乎是唯一的出路。
以我淺薄的想像，太空旅行大概會是：星船加速起飛的速度感、探索異星的神秘、無邊無際的寂寥與空間感、不知打哪來的異形莫名其妙總要穿你腸破我肚等。照著這些特性來看，從老迷幻、新迷幻、噪音、實驗著手應是最佳解，再由達人Fuse引入Shoegaze、Ambient、西德最新科技Krautrock等元素，Mixtape就這樣蹦出來了。那麼，口說無憑、心想也無益，不如交給耳朵去探索吧。
