disorder，有失序、混亂、無秩序、失調、紊亂、不適…等意思，同時也是後龐克名團Joy Division的代表作。
從城市的失序講起。〈A.M. 180〉是電影《28 Days Later》的配樂，從猴子身上散播開的病毒，準備將片中世界引入失序的起點。〈Cities in Dust〉描寫被火山灰淹沒的龐貝城；〈Tiny Cities Made of Ashes〉中，Isaac Brock (Modest Mouse)以emo式的嘶吼告解，失去面容的人們所處的社會，也許是另一座將被毀滅的龐貝城。
〈Disorder〉跑馬式急促的鼓點、bassline，與keyboard所搭建的疏離場域，正像是混亂的心理狀態。心頭失去方向，好比陷入粉色迷霧的無人太空船，在霧中等待的，是〈Mysterons〉的迷離、或是〈Lake Somerset〉的天旋地轉？Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel)曾寫了〈Engine〉這首可愛的歌，想讓自己暫時離開那個失序的世界。但最後還是失去了控制。
Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) 對〈We Dance〉歌詞的解釋是這樣的：
"Pompeii. The Peloponnesian War. Greek Gods. Perversion. We dance while the world falls down around us. Doric Columns, a belly full of OOZO!"
如果毀滅是一切的終點，那麼像《Fight Club》般於高樓頂端欣賞著城市的崩壞，倒也是另一種美：一種存於漫舞的雙手間，隱隱閃著光的美。
但轉型為不熱男孩的魯壞男孩要提醒各位，Blur老師們在〈Universal〉有交待：
"Well, it really, really, really could happen
Yes, it really, really, really could happen
When the days they seem to fall through you,
well just let them go"
"Yes the universal's here, here for everyone"
宇宙就在我們手中，一切將會重生。
